Scholarship

​Since 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., has based its foundation on the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. Each year Epsilon Xi Zeta chapter awards $6,000 to $10,000 to deserving students in the greater Mercer County region. One of our founding principles is scholarship. Our chapter works diligently cultivating young minds, and creating future leaders. 

Criteria for Scholarship Selection (High School Student)

 

  1. Applicant must be a resident of Mercer County and attends an accredited high school in NJ or be at the recommendation of an active and financial member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Xi Zeta Chapter.

 

  1. Applicant must possess a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA).

 

  1. Applicant must produce an: Official Transcript from their current high school, Letter(s) of acceptance(s) from a 4-year accredited college/university and personal statement.

 

  1. Applicant must submit three letters of recommendation as noted on the application. (Refer to the section entitled “References” for additional information).

 

 

Criteria for College Scholarship Application

 

  1. Applicant must be a resident of Mercer County and attends an accredited 4-year college/university or be at the recommendation of an active and financial member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Xi Zeta Chapter.

 

  1. Applicant must possess a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA) and semester GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applicant must produce an official transcript from their current college/university.

 

  1. Applicant must submit three letters of recommendation as noted on the application. (Refer to the section entitled “References” for additional information).

 

 

Scholarship Application will become available on February 1st of each year.
